Creating Fairy Garden Scents by Linda Gannon immediately caught my eye because the title and cover reminded me of my Vera Wang Flower Princess perfume. After some browsing, I made up my mind to buy it.
It's only a few pages long but it's very comprehensive. The book contains:
-some background on faerie lore
-fragrance recipes for all four seasons with cute names and presentation styles.
- even a section on how to see faeries.
- info on the materials you'll be using like herbs, flowers, essential oils and their health benefits as well as effect in aromatherapy.
-basic tenchniques like drying flowers.
- lots of pretty pictures.
This is definitely a good find, in my opinion. Of course, I will still frequent curio stores. I still want a Mogwai. =))

ReplyDeleteThere's something so magical about fairies. I totally heart them! And haha...every time I think of Gremlins, I think of fried chicken. XD
ReplyDelete@Pammy: I'd love to try it at least once. BUT! Some ingredients are kind of hard to find in our country. Maybe when I go to Baguio again where flowers are much cheaper. =)
ReplyDelete@Bee: hooray! I loved it so much before. =))
@kay: clap your hands if you believe *winks*
