What's With the Title?

Narcissus Flowers

People who know me in real life will always point out this habit that I have: I am constantly staring at my reflection.

They usually take it the wrong way. They think I'm conceited and in love with myself., but trust me. That's not why I stare.

It's more like how someone who witnesses a horrible accident can't look away. I used to think that if I stared at the flaws long enough, I would stop minding them so much.

A lot has changed since then, but I still have a long way to go.

This is a reflection of me, and my ultimate goal is to be like Narcissus. I am hoping someday, I would love what I see.

  1. awww.. you are pretty in your own ways and I know those flaws you are talking about aren't that bad. I mean sure, we all have things we complain about ourselves but there's people out there saying "I wish I was as pretty as her" to you :)

  2. Hi Iyah. You're right. I think it was just something most girls go through as teens. I'm really fine. Thanks for visiting my blog!
